The Ultimate Winter Special Laddu Recipe

Serves: 25-30 pieces of laddu
Ingredients:
For the nuts and seeds mixture:
4-5 tbsp ghee
1 cup makhana (fox nuts)
1.5 cups mixed nuts (almonds, cashews, walnuts)
1 cup mixed seeds (melon, pumpkin, sunflower, sesame)
For the sattu and jaggery mixture:
½ cup ghee
1 cup chana sattu
⅓ cup desiccated coconut
½ cup jaggery powder
⅓ cup water
1 tsp green cardamom powder
Instructions:
To make the nuts and seeds mixture:
Heat a wok over medium flame.
Pour 1-2 tbsp ghee. Allow it to heat up.
Add makhana and cook until crispy. Transfer to a plate.
Again pour 1-2 tbsp ghee in the wok.
Add the nuts. Cook until fragrant and slightly golden. Transfer it to a plate.
Add seeds. Cook until fragrant and slightly golden. Transfer it to a plate.
Let the mixture cool down, then grind to a coarse powder.
To make the sattu and jaggery mixture:
Heat ghee in the same wok.
Add sattu and coconut. Cook until fragrant.
Add jaggery and mix well.
Pour in water. Cook, stirring constantly, until the jaggery dissolves and the mixture reaches a dough-like consistency, binding everything together seamlessly.
Turn the flame off. Let the mixture cool down a little.
To make the winter special laddu:
Combine the nuts and seeds powder with the warm sattu and jaggery mixture.
Add cardamom powder and mix well.
Shape the mixture into laddus.
Serve and enjoy!
