Prep Time: 5 min | Cook Time: 25 min | Total Time: 30 min
Serves: 5 waffles
Ingredients:
1 cup besan
1 tbsp rice flour
2 tsp amchur powder
¼ tsp red chilli powder
Salt to taste
½ tsp ajwain
½ cup sliced onions
½ cup water
1 tsp baking powder
Oil, as required
Fresh coriander leaves and tomato ketchup, for garnishing
Method:
In a bowl, add besan, rice flour, amchur, red chilli powder, salt, ajwain and onion. Pour water a little at a time.
Mix well. Make a smooth and thick batter.
Let it rest for 5 minutes.
Add baking powder and mix well.
Brush oil onto preheated waffle maker plates.
Pour 2-3 tbsp batter. Close the lid.
Cook for 4-5 minutes or until golden and crisp.
Garnish with coriander leaves and tomato ketchup.
Pyaz pakora waffles are ready to serve!
