Egg Paniyaram Recipe

Learn how to make egg paniyaram or appe at home. These egg bites are very easy to make. You can serve them as a snack or as breakfast.

Ingredients
  

  • 3 eggs
  • ½ cup chopped onion
  • ½ cup chopped cabbage
  • ¼ cup chopped red bell pepper
  • ¼ cup chopped green bell pepper
  • 1 tsp dried oregano
  • ½ tsp black pepper powder
  • Salt to taste
  • Oil as required

Method
 

  1. In a bowl, add eggs, onion, cabbage, bell peppers, oregano, black pepper and salt. Mix well.
  2. Heat a paniyaram pan on low flame. Add oil. Allow it to heat up.
  3. Pour 1 tbsp egg mixture into each mould.
  4. Drizzle oil over them.
  5. Cook until golden in colour.
  6. Flip them with a spoon or toothpick. Cook the other side until golden.
  7. Serve egg paniyaram with tomato ketchup.
