Leftover Bread Recipe - Seyal Bread

Ingredients
  

  • 4-5 slices of white bread
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 1 tsp mustard seeds
  • 15-18 curry leaves
  • 2 medium-sized onions chopped
  • 2 medium-sized tomatoes chopped
  • 1 tsp coriander powder
  • 1 tsp cumin powder
  • 1 tsp garam masala powder
  • 1 tsp turmeric powder
  • 1 tsp red chilli powder
  • Salt to taste
  • ½ cup water
  • Handful of chopped coriander leaves

Instructions
 

  • Roughly chop the slices of bread.
  • In a pan, add oil. Allow it to heat up.
  • Add mustard seeds and curry leaves. Allow them to splutter.
  • Add onion and tomato. Cook until the onions are translucent.
  • Add coriander powder, cumin powder, garam masala powder, turmeric powder, red chilli powder and salt.
  • Cook for a few seconds.
  • Add water. Mix well. Cook until oil separates.
  • Add the chopped bread. Gently give it a mix. Turn the flame off.
  • Add chopped coriander leaves. Mix again.
  • Seyal bread is ready to serve!
