Instant Sirke Wale Pyaz Recipe (Pickled Onions)
Prepare authentic Indian-style pickled onions in just 24 hours! This Instant Sirke Wale Pyaz recipe uses simple ingredients like onions, beetroot, ginger, and vinegar for a tangy and flavorful condiment.
- 1 cup water
- 1 tbsp salt
- 1- inch cinnamon stick
- 1 tsp black peppercorns
- 4-5 cloves
- ½ medium beetroot sliced
- 18-20 small onions peeled
- 1- inch ginger julienne
- 3-4 green chillies slit
- 1 cup vinegar
Step 1: Prepare the Brine
Heat a saucepan over a high flame.
Add water, salt, cinnamon stick, black peppercorns, cloves, and beetroot.
Bring to a boil, then reduce heat and cook for 5 minutes.
Allow the mixture to cool down completely.
