- 15-16 baby onions
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1 tsp turmeric powder
- 1 tsp coriander powder
- 1 tsp dry mango powder/amchur
- ½ tsp fennel seeds
- ½ tsp cumin seeds
- 3-4 tbsp mustard oil
- 1 tsp nigella seeds/kalonji
- 1 tsp asafoetida/hing
In a bowl, add onions, red chilli powder, turmeric powder, coriander powder, amchur, fennel seeds, and cumin seeds. Mix well.
Heat mustard oil in a pan. Add kalonji and hing. Cook for a few seconds.
Pour the oil over the onions. Mix well.
Serve immediately or you can also refrigerate for 10 days.
