Cut the tofu into thin and long slices.
Transfer them to a bowl.
Add oil. Give them a quick mix.
Add cornflour, salt and pepper. Toss gently.
Transfer to a preheated air fryer.
Cook at 200-degree Celsius for 15-20 minutes or until they are golden and crisp.
In a bowl, add cornflour and water. Mix well. Keep aside.
Heat a pan over medium flame.
Add oil. Allow it to heat up.
Add garlic and ginger. Cook until the garlic becomes golden.
Add soy sauce, chilli sauce, tomato ketchup, vinegar, sugar and salt. Mix well. Cook until sugar dissolves.
Pour the cornflour slurry. Mix well. Cook until the sauce thickens.
Add tofu, spring onion and sesame seeds. Toss well.
Transfer to a bowl.
Garnish with spring onion and sesame seeds.
Serve immediately.
