Serves: 1 person
Ingredients:
3 bread slices
2 tbsp butter, melted
Chopped chocolate, as per your liking
2-3 tbsp chocolate syrup
¼ cup milk
1 tbsp castor sugar
Instructions:
Apply melted butter over a slice of bread.
Sprinkle chopped chocolate.
Drizzle chocolate syrup.
Top with another slice of bread.
Apply butter. Add chopped chocolate and syrup.
Top with another bread slice. Brush butter on top.
Heat pan over medium-low flame.
Place the sandwich, butter side down, in the pan.
Brush butter on top.
Cook until both sides are golden brown.
Pour milk and allow the bread to absorb it completely.
Flip the sandwich and pour a little more milk. Let it absorb.
Take the sandwich out on a plate.
Sprinkle sugar on top.
Heat a spoon.
Press it on the sugar to caramelise it.
Cut it diagonally.
Garnish with chopped chocolate and syrup.
Chocolate milk toast is ready to serve!
