How to make popcorns over the stovetop?
To make popcorn over the stovetop, take a heavy-bottomed saucepan. It will prevent the corns from burning. And if possible then take a large pan. That will prevent the popcorns from overflowing. But if you have a small saucepan then just add fewer popcorn kernels.
Then pour ghee/clarified butter into the saucepan and allow it to heat up. Ghee helps in adding a beautiful buttery aroma to the popcorns. But if you don’t have that, then use any oil of your choice. Just make sure it has a high smoke point.
Add the popcorn kernels, give them a stir. Cover it with a lid. Within a couple of seconds, the corns will start popping. For detailed instructions, read below.
How to melt white chocolate?
Double boiler method: Boil water in a saucepan. Add the chopped chocolate into a heatproof bowl. Place the bowl over the saucepan. Make sure the water doesn’t touch the bowl. Lower the flame and continuously stir the chocolate with a spatula. Once the chocolate melts with only a few bits left, turn the heat off and remove it from the saucepan. Keep stirring until it has melted completely and the texture is smooth.
Microwave Method: Add chopped chocolate to a microwave-safe bowl. Then microwave it for 20 seconds. Take it out and stir it well. If it has not melted completely then microwave it for another 20 seconds.
Here I have used a 900-Watt microwave. And it took around 40 seconds (20sec+20sec) to melt the chocolate completely. But every microwave is different. So be very careful, you don’t want to burn the chocolate.
Depending upon the wattage of your microwave, adjust the time. If your microwave has a higher wattage then you may lower the power to 50%. Then microwave it in small intervals.
How to store white chocolate popcorn?
If you want to store it, then pour them into an airtight container and place it in the refrigerator. You can easily store it for up to a week.
