Tips:
- To make popcorns on the stovetop, always use a large heavy-bottomed pot. This will help in accommodating all the popcorns and will prevent them from overflowing.
- You can use any oil in this recipe. Just make sure it has a high smoke point.
- When the popcorn kernels start popping, keep the lid ajar. This will allow the steam to escape and the popcorns will be crispier.
- I would always suggest you serve the popcorns immediately and never store them. But in case you want to store it. Then after making a batch of popcorn don’t add the flavourings. Not even salt. Transfer all the popcorns to a clean bowl or tray and allow them to cool down completely. When they cool down, transfer them to an airtight container. Store it in a cool and dry place. And just before serving them, drizzle melted butter, lemon juice, and the rest of the ingredients.
