Kesar Badam Milk | Cosy Winter Drink
Kesar badam milk or saffron almond milk is the best winter drink ever! This comforting and satisfying milk recipe is so simple to make. And it smells as good as it tastes. It will surely keep you warm this winter.
Kesar badam milk or doodh is a traditional Indian beverage. It is made with milk, almonds and saffron. Which are extremely nutritious and healthy. Here I have used whole milk as it helps in giving a rich and creamy texture to this drink. But you can also use skimmed milk if you like.
To make this, bring the milk to a boil and then add almond paste and saffron (soaked in 2 tablespoon milk). Mix everything well and let it simmer for a few minutes. As soon as the milk starts to thicken, turn the heat off and serve immediately. This drink tastes amazing when served hot. But you can also serve it chilled if you desire.
So when the weather outside starts getting chilly, make this simple milk recipe, curl up under a blanket and enjoy!
