Chatpata Roasted Kabuli Chana/Chickpeas | Diwali Special Snacks Recipe
Learn how to make chatpata roasted kabuli chana at home. This crisp masala chole recipe is the perfect Diwali snack recipe for your party. It’s easy to make, tasty and also very healthy!
If you are looking for a namkeen or nasta recipe for Diwali, give this recipe a try. As I said earlier, it’s very easy to make and doesn’t take much time. For this, you will need only a few ingredients. And I have baked or roasted the chickpeas in the O.T.G./oven. You can also cook them in an air fryer if you like. After roasting the boiled chickpeas, toss them with sukhi green chutney (I have already shared the recipe on the blog). Chatpata roasted kabuli chana/chickpeas are ready to serve!

Prep Time: 5 min | Bake Time: 40 min | Total Time: 45 min
Serves: 2 people
Ingredients:
2 cups boiled chickpeas
2 tbsp oil
Salt to taste
1-1.5 cups sukhi green chutney, recipe link
Method:
To roast or bake the kabuli chana/chickpeas:
Preheat oven/OTG to 200-degree Celsius.
In a large bowl, add oil and salt. Mix well.
Then add the boiled chickpeas and toss them well. Make sure all the chickpeas are coated with the oil.
Line a baking tray with parchment paper.
Transfer the chickpeas to the tray.
Spread them out in an even layer.
Roast/bake the chickpeas for 30-40 minutes or until they become crisp and golden brown.
Don’t forget to give them a stir occasionally, like every 10-15 minutes or so.
To make the chatpata roasted kabuli chana:
Take the chickpeas out of the oven and transfer them to a bowl.
Add the sukhi green chutney.
Give the chickpeas a good toss.
And serve them immediately.
