2-Minute Microwave Pizza Without Yeast | BBQ Pizza Recipe
This 2-minute microwave pizza is the perfect snack recipe! It is quick, easy and so delicious. If you have a microwave (grill) oven without convection, then you need to try this recipe. Here I have shared a no-yeast and just 4-ingredient pizza dough (base) recipe. I have topped one pizza with instant pizza sauce and veggies. And the other one with BBQ sauce, veggies and paneer.
About This Recipe:
This is a homemade microwave pizza recipe that can be cooked in under 2 minutes. It is very easy to make. Just mix all the dough ingredients in a bowl. Mix well. Roll or flatten it out. Microwave for just 40 seconds. Then add the sauce and toppings. And microwave again for about 50 seconds or until the cheese melts. That’s all! Your 2-minute pizza is ready to be served.
About My Microwave:
- The oven that I have used in this recipe is a normal oven without convection mode.
- Every microwave has a different output wattage. The cooking time will change depending upon the wattage of your microwave. Here I have cooked this pizza in a 900W microwave and it took around 90 seconds. But if you have a 1200W microwave then the pizza will cook in less time. So you must check the wattage of your microwave before you make this recipe.
No-Yeast Pizza Dough/Base:
In this recipe, I have shared a pizza dough or base recipe that is made without yeast or baking soda. To make this, you will need, all-purpose flour, baking powder, milk and salt. With just these 4 ingredients you can make a soft pizza base in under 1 minute.
Corn Veggie Pizza With Instant Pizza Sauce:
I have topped the first pizza with a homemade instant pizza sauce. I have already shared the recipe on this blog. You can check that out. Then I have added grated mozzarella cheese, chopped capsicum, onion and sweet corns. Don’t forget to sprinkle oregano and red chilli flakes before you serve it.
Paneer Veggie BBQ Pizza:
For the second pizza, I have used store-bought BBQ sauce. Then topped it with mozzarella cheese, chopped onions, capsicum and paneer. Sprinkled chilli flakes and oregano over the top.
Why is it better than mug pizza?
Mug pizza is a great snack! I really love making that. You can check my mug pizza recipe. It is also very easy and quick to make. The only problem is that it doesn’t feel like an actual pizza. But after trying this recipe, I can say, this is far better than a mug pizza. First of all, it looks like a pizza, it’s very simple to put together and also takes less time to cook. It’s just PERFECT!!

Ingredients:
For the no-yeast pizza dough:
⅓ cup all-purpose flour
½ tsp baking powder
Salt to taste
2 ½ tbsp milk, room temperature
For the Corn Veggie Instant Sauce Pizza:
1 tbsp instant pizza sauce
2-3 tbsp mozzarella cheese, grated
Chopped capsicum, onion and sweet corn
Oregano and red chilli flakes, for garnishing
For the Paneer Veggie BBQ Pizza:
1 tbsp BBQ sauce
2-3 tbsp mozzarella cheese, grated
Chopped onion, capsicum and paneer
Oregano and red chilli flakes, for garnishing
Cooking Direction:
In a mixing bowl, add all-purpose flour, baking powder, salt and milk. Mix well.
Knead it for about a minute until it comes together. If the dough feels a bit dry then pour around ½ tsp milk and knead again. Make sure the dough isn’t sticky.
Take a microwave-safe plate and line it with baking or parchment paper.
Place the dough ball over it and start flattening it with your fingers. See the video.
The diameter of the pizza base should be around 4-5 inches and it should have a ¼ inch (approx.) thickness.
Prick the pizza base with a fork. Microwave for 40 seconds.
To make the Corn Veggie Instant Sauce Pizza:
Take the pizza base out of the microwave and apply the pizza sauce.
Then add grated mozzarella cheese, chopped capsicum, onion and sweet corns.
Microwave for another 50 seconds or until the cheese melts. Then take it out.
Sprinkle oregano and red chilli flakes. Serve Hot!
To make the Paneer Veggie BBQ Pizza:
Take the pizza base out of the microwave and apply the BBQ sauce.
Then add grated mozzarella cheese, chopped onion, capsicum and paneer.
Microwave for another 50 seconds or until the cheese melts. Then take it out.
