Microwave Mug Cake Filled With Mango Jam
A quick and easy microwave mug cake which is filled with mango jam. This mug cake is made without egg or butter and can be baked in less than 2 minutes. So if you are craving something sweet then do give this recipe a try.
This mug cake is super delicious. It has a soft and fluffy texture. And has an irresistible centre of mango jam oozing out. HEAVENLY! So if you want to satisfy your sweet cravings but don’t want to make a huge batch of cake, then this recipe is for you. For this, you will just need a mug, a microwave and a few simple ingredients, like flour, sugar, baking powder, milk etc. And within just a few minutes, you will have a decadent dessert ready to be devoured.
Recipe Requirement:
Mug: Always use a microwave-proof mug for this recipe. Here I have used a 300ml ceramic microwavable mug. If you are using a smaller mug, then adjust the quantity of the ingredients accordingly.
Microwave: Every microwave has a different output wattage. The cooking time will change depending upon the wattage of your microwave. Here I have cooked this mug cake in a 900W microwave and it took 1 minute 40 seconds. But if you have a 1200W microwave then the cake will cook in less time, like for example under 1 minute. So you must check the wattage of your microwave before you make this recipe.

Microwave it for 1 minute. Then check if it is fully baked. The cake should feel fluffy and springy to the touch.
If the cake hasn’t set then microwave it in 10-second intervals until cooked through. But don’t overdo it. As it might become too dry or burn.
Every microwave is different. So I will suggest you start with 1 minute and then continue microwaving it in 10-second intervals. My microwave is 900W and it took 1 minute and 40 seconds to bake this mug cake.
Then take it out of the microwave and let it cool down for a couple of minutes. Then it is ready to be devoured!
