Shredded Chicken Sliders | Chicken Sliders with Indian Flavors
Delicious and easy appetisers for any party. This shredded chicken sliders with Indian flavours is the perfect dish for your guests.
This recipe is really simple to make. For this, you’ll need slider buns, chicken breast, onion, tomato, cheese and a few Indian masalas or spices. If you want, you can also use leftover shredded chicken.
Prep Time: 10 min | Cook Time: 30 min | Total Time: 40 min
Serves: 6 people
Ingredients:
- 12 slider buns or pav
- 4 chicken breasts, cut into small pieces
- 2 medium-sized onions, finely chopped
- 2 tbsp ginger garlic paste
- 1 cup tomatoes, finely chopped
- 1 tsp red chilli powder
- 1/2 tsp turmeric powder
- 2 tsp black pepper powder
- 1 tsp gram masala powder
- 1/2 cup processed cheese, shredded
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1 tsp dried parsley
- 1 cup water
- 2 tbsp oil
- Salt to taste
Cooking Directions:
Preheat oven to 180-degree Celcius.
Heat oil in a non-stick pan over medium flame. Add chopped onions. Saute until slightly golden.
Add ginger-garlic paste and cook till the raw smell disappears.
Then add chopped tomatoes and salt. Cook until oil begins to separate.
Add red chilli powder, turmeric powder, black pepper powder and garam masala powder. Give it a mix and cook for 2-3 minutes.
Add the chicken pieces and mix it well.
Saute for a minute then add water and cover it with a lid. Cook until the chicken is fully cooked.
Turn the heat off and shred the chicken.
Cut the buns in half across the length and place it on the baking tray.
Pour the shredded chicken and spread it evenly.
Add a layer of grated cheese over the chicken.
Place the top back on. Apply a mixture of butter and dried parsley over the top of the buns.
Bake for 10 minutes or until the top of the buns are golden brown. Serve.
